Often described as the ‘primadonna’ of clays. One should not throw, pull or collar porcelain but merely suggest the way it would be desirous for it to move.
I use Southern Ice porcelain as it seems to have a purplish light in it. I love the luminosity of the material and the way it sparkles. I use a crackle glaze on my round jars that reminds me of polished marble. I throw the smaller items finely so that they are transluscent.
